FIFA 19: EA Sports may be ditching Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 versions this year

FIFA 18 isn’t the same game on Xbox 360 and PS3.

Of the five versions, the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 made up a minuscule amount of sales last year.

Roughly 97% of games sold were for the Xbox One and PlayStation 4, with the Nintendo Switch edition accounting for one percent.

The PS3 made up less than that, while the 360 sold marginally more.

"Nintendo Switch edition accounting for one percent" .. as expected, I remember everyone talking is so great the new FIFA for the Switch because is so unique, but yet later on nobody talks what it really matters for a game to survive and that is its sales!, well there you have it.
Sorry if I'm of topic but somebody has to tell the reality for third parties games on the switch:

DOOM: 80 k
Skyrim: 450 k

Pretty much as I expected, third party developers porting games to this thing is just a waste of budget for them and they just increase their expenses into just creating an inferior port, I wonder how many third party devs will actually try to develope triple AAA games into that thing called Switch.

It sold 80k physical copies the 1st week that not accounting digital sales, if I had to guess it probably sold about 150k by now

It’s sold several millions on both PS3 and 360, while the PS4 version has sold well over 3 million. The way some Nintendo fans talk, we’d be led to believe that portable is the only way to enjoy modern games. Fact is, third party games don’t sell well on Switch when compared to other versions

Doom and Skyrim are ports of old games that alot of people had already played. Why do you expect them to sell like newly released AAA games? Also, FIfa on the Switch is the worst version of the game. If anyone should get the blame it is EA for half-assed the port to make quick buck.

You also conveniently left out some other 3rd party games that sold pretty well on the Switch such as Rocket League and Stardew Valley.

I wouldn’t say the sales are horrible, but Nintendo users have no place to complain when third parties continue to refuse to bend over backwards for them and give them nothing but half assed ports. They don’t buy the games regardless.
