Soulslikes are punishingly difficult but amongst the most compelling games. Power Up Gaming goes through the top ten Soulslikes you're likely not playing.
Demon's Souls isn't Soulslike. It's the original Souls game. WTF? And Elden Ring?
Another Crab's Treasure simply is not.

Funny. I was just thinking this should get a sequel. With the souls genre being so well known now, now is a good time. Wo Long seems to have sold pretty well.
Currently playing through the game, but I’m getting my ass handed to me at the moment with a boss fight. Two bosses at the same time, ones female fast and uses ice, while the other is a giant metal guy/robot that uses a flame thrower:
Definitely was better than I thought it was going to be, and would welcome a sequel.
Sounds awesome (great read). I did chuckle though. A few of these characters suffer from the forgotten memory syndrome. I'm used to seeing one character have this trait (plot purposes, easy to write with), but this article mentions 3 who've either forgotten their entire past, or something important to them.
That said, this is in my top anticipated list. There's a lot of good lore/backstory already from the sounds of it which is a nice change from always having to imagine scenarios, persay.
From a gameplay standpoint: I'm hooked.
Aesthetic standpoint: I'm hooked
Plot standpoint: I'm hooked.
Code Vein, is in these veins.
