532k and that's not including the weekly missions 😱

TheVigilanteCode2658d ago

How much fight money is needed to unlock, say, S1+S2 characters, costumes and stages, in total?

RAM0N 2658d ago

Each character is 100k and stages are 80k I think. So... a lot.

@RAM0N

Thanks for the reply.

I'm on PC. I wanted to pick this up during the last steam sale but wanted to wait a bit thinking they will unite the listing, and yes they did. The only version purchaseable on steam now is the arcade edition. I'm in no hurry and I'll wait for the summer sale and pick it up.

The game averages around 2000+ players on average on steam, though for the last couple of days it's been around 4000 because of AE's release. Even if we get to really low numbers in the next 5 or six months like for most fighting games on PC, we'll use crossplay and use the PS4 players to play online MP, like we do for ALL console/PC crossplay games. So no worries there too.

There sure isn't. So long as you're willing to make SF V your full time job for about 6 months. lol

After 5 and a half years, we are now waiting for a new street fighter game, not new characters to the old game. continue mortal kombat

PapaBop1366d ago

A lot of people are hyped for Akira, seeing as it's been so long since Rival Schools.

Yi-Long1366d ago

That’s because Akira is from the era when Capcom still had amazing character design. Personally been pretty disappointed with most of the new fighters, design-wise, for SF4 & 5.

Not really feeling new guy Luke either.

Pocky has just announced their partnership with Capcom

Glico’s Pocky Label Announces Its Entry in the Esports World In their First Global Partnership with Street Fighter™ V: Arcade Edition Proudly Presents the “Pocky K.O. Challenge”.

TGG_overlord1991d ago

It's some candy from Japan, you can see the pocky candy in a lot of animes and mangas.

bluefox7551990d ago

They make these thin cookie sticks that are dipped in chocolate, very popular with anime fans for some reason. I've only recently discovered this as well.

rainslacker1989d ago

pocky is really good stuff. Can often be found in a decent size grocery store's asian section, or an asian market. I highly recommend trying it.

Simon_the_sorcerer1990d ago

Pocky and Capcom? Sure, why not? :P

TGG_overlord1990d ago

That's right, well, I like the Pocky candy at least ;)

darthv721990d ago

Does this mean they will have SF flavored pocky...? Like Chun Li and R Mika flavored?

ReVibe1990d ago

I used to collect various obscure Pocky flavors and hoard the boxes. I find this collaboration better suited for Pockymon than a fighting game.

rainslacker1989d ago

I like the banana chocolate one's the best. They had an orange cream-sickle thing I liked a lot, but they stopped selling it everywhere I knew to get it locally. Asked at an anime convention if it was still available, and they said that it wasn't available from their stateside distributor anymore.
