I was just about to comment how this looks it belongs in the f2p Korean Matrix style shooter GunZ around 2005.

I don’t think so, it looked quaint and European but boring as hell. Even populated with people and street furniture it looked like a tiny area you would fly through in a car in game and never look back on.

Gta v is the absolute pinnacle of sand box level design when it comes to intersecting environments navigable by many vehicles but in particular cars. The layout of the roads, the density of the traffic, the hills, the open areas, I honestly don’t think there’s much they could’ve done to make it a more exciting place to drive around.

This is a pale imitation at best. It looks like thy have just recreated 1:1 an area they like, with no regard for what it would actually be like to do anything in said area.

Considering that this is made by ONE PERSON, it's not too bad.
Get some level designers and artists involved then you got a good platform to make it 'pretty'.

Nothing about this will be good. The problem is that it IS being made by one person. One artist, one director, one designer...the same person.

Even this "environment" looked maybe half a step above generic. The problem with indie titles like this is their own scope and size and promises. This game won't deliver on 95% of what it wants and considering what type of game it is this thing will be BLASTED. The more complex and pretty and large an indie game is the more people expect a certain level of polish and stuff to do.

Yeah, I've been following this for a while now and I have no confidence in it.
