Gazillion did not have the Marvel license secured and were going to shut down the PC game while negotiating for the console release of Marvel Heroes.

Discord log of Zurick, a Gazillion staffer admitting that the Marvel PC contract was gone and was in the process of being re-negotiated along with the console release.

This was while Gazillion kept ensuring their users the license had already been renewed to encourage spending.
