Looking Back at Lollipop Chainsaw - Saving Classmates, Decapitating Zombies

Grasshopper Manufacture has released a pretty solid library of games. It was set up by gaming luminaries Suda 51, Shinji Mikami and Akira Yamoaka. Shadows of the Damned managed to be an entertaining, chaotic trip through hell. Grasshopper then set its sights on small-town America with Lollipop Chainsaw. But was it a Past Blast?

The story is too old to be commented.

That was a great game full of great jokes, fantastic music, great characters all set on a fantastic backdrop full of cheesy movie tropes, it was set up for sequels. Unfortunately it came out at the start of the whole sexy girls are bad thing even though that wasn't really the focus. Combined with the fact that most people don't want to try anything new and instead just buy the same CoD FIFA crap year after year doomed this actual good game to fail.

It's one of those games I really wish there would have been a sequel too, but that's obviously not going to happen. It's a real shame.

I really enjoyed it too. I even imported the Valentine Edition Box set from Japan for my collection.
Killer Is Dead is another great unique game from Grasshopper.
