Destiny 2: The Lone Wolf Gamer Review
"When thinking of the model Destiny, and now Destiny 2, player, they commonly roll with a fireteam shooting the shit on Strikes, coordinate in the Crucible, and schedule Raid events. Bungie very much built these games with that level of social interaction in mind. However for many of us, such cases are the equivalent of a toy commercial that shows enthusiastic children roleplaying in the most elaborate backyards that most of us never had. Destiny's Raids, the definitive social feature the game has to offer, have only been completed by a smaller fraction of Destiny's player base. Destiny 1's first Raid, Vault of Glass, was conquered by less than half of its audience. Subsequent Raids saw less and less completion rates. So what does this say about then Destiny, and now Destiny 2's community? It means that there is a large, special, and mostly vocal minority that are privileged to experiencing all of what Destiny 2 has to offer."
