We'll admit that the only thing that really drew us to review Morphite was the fact that we missed a similarly vibrant and colourful space-based game last year.
Morphite is a mix of many different genres that evokes the feeling of No Man's Sky. It does it's own thing, though, as it adds a bit of Metroid weapon progression and level unlocking in it. It's a budget priced game that can be fun despite it's flaws.
Morphite is by no means a mere imitation of No Man's Sky. It has its own ideas and despite some minor faults, executes them very well.
