The combination of a gorgeous art style, stellar voice acting, and down right fun gameplay that left us wanting more, easily makes Battle Chasers one of our games of the year thus far. An excellent RPG that ticks all the right boxes.

A number of games have been discounted to below $15 on Nintendo Switch. The deals include GRIP: Combat Racing – AirBlades vs Rollers Ultimate Edition, Darksiders: Warmastered Edition, NBA 2K Playgrounds 2, and Battle Chasers: Nightwar for $14.99 each.
I found Nightwar to be a ton of fun. I do agree with the FF comparison. I feel it drew a lot from the JRPGs of that era. I didn't care for the overworld sections where it made you run around a map at a snail's pace though but the combat more than made up for that.
