Played wasteland and divinity on both console and PC. There is no issue with console versions of these games

These are very PC oriented RPGs but as long as they can get the controls working and their is a demand for it I don't see why not.

I would say yes. Like the first one it will probably come out a little later. The director has said in a recent interview that they are rolling out the major patch updates then taking a deserved break and when they return starting on whats next, so take that as you will.

i couldn't get into the first one. i've played these games so much in the past. i'd appreciate if they found a fresh approach to the rpg formula. just for people who have been around for a while and need more than 0815 to get thrilled and immersed. will not buy the second one this blogger gave the biased treatment with a blank 10. c'mon. first time rpg player?

I found it refreshing and unique how you can combo and use the environments in divinity. It was a fresh concept in my experience

Currently playing through the first one and am having a blast. I hope the few nagging issues I have with it are fixed in the sequel. Non unified inventory makes crafting and inventory management a bit of a chore, the camera recenters on your character after you fire a skill off which sometimes makes me move instead of attack when I follow up too quickly. Apart from that I am loving the first game and will pick this one up when I finish it.

The crafting and centralised camera per move have indeed been fixed. The crafting opens up a new menu that gives you access to all 4 characters inventory in one space.

I played the first one for Xbox. I was browsing through Gamefly and saw this game and thought it was a dungeon crawler and rented it. I was shocked and pleasantly surprised it was a Baldur style game and loved every minute of it.

I am hoping they announce a Xbox console version soon. Because I want to play this game bad.

Yup, I hope you guys get a console version as well. Never really cared for exclusivity, I own all platforms so it doesn't really matter to me but I still kinda wish everybody got to play whatever they wanted. Just my unrealistic non business opinion.

I really want to play this but I still have to finish Pillar of Eternity first and still have Divinity 1 in my backlog. Too many games, too little time. And next month its gonna be so much crazy with all the shiny new releases.

This games has gotten high scores across the board, and it's easy to see why. It absolutely deserves your consideration. For me, however, I'm finding it somewhat of a let down. I'm finding this game to be more of a battle simulator, than an R.P.G. Frustratingly, so. I believe Dev has confused definition between strategy and adventure.
