Today, Superhippo Studios, a leader in the gaming freemium industry, has announced the release of their latest visual novel Tears of Yggdrasil available for purchase on Nutaku.
“Tears of Yggdrasil” comes off as an ambitious project, and so far the visual novel has a good start. So here´s my (David Lucas, TGG) thoughts on the preview version of the game.
Carl Williams writes, "I recently did a preview of a new visual novel game called Tears of Yggdrasil. If you are not familiar with visual novels then you could be in for a treat. Basically, visual novels are graphical adventures that have more twists and turns than a season of Bones or Supernatural. Tears of Yggdrasil is one that also happens to pull hard on the emotions with its storyline and choices you are faced with. I had a chance to talk with John Valentin, aka Moonstar, and discuss Tears of Yggdrasil."
Carl Williams writes, "What would you do when faced with saving your best friend from an out of control vehicle heading directly at them? If you are Yamakazi Kusanagi, the star of Tears of Yggdrasil, you do your damnedest to save them. Even going as far as getting mortally wounded and finding yourself in another world. A world that is not exactly all that familiar to you. The problem is, you are told that you have a limited amount of time in this world to figure things out before it is too late."
