This is one of the better James Bond titles to have released, back in the days when the Gamecube, PS2 and Xbox were king.
Plenty of licensed games are bad, but the worst sin any game can commit is to be boring. These games are not that.
GI:
The N64 game GoldenEye 007 remains a favorite among many gamers of a certain age, for its multiplayer action and the fact that it was one of the earliest console shooters that was actually playable. This week, we take a look at a game that has GoldenEye in the title. Settle down. It's the PS2 game Rogue Agent.
As always, Tim is on the sticks, and Reiner, Jeff Marchiafava, and I provide helpful commentary (?!) and moral support. Rogue Agent didn't exactly set the world on fire when it was released, but if you squint you can see the kernel of a few interesting ideas. For instance, you can grab bad guys and hurl them to their doom. Sounds great, right?
There's plenty of debate over who the best James Bond is. SPECTRE's Daniel Craig, From Russia With Love's Sean Connery, even Goldeneye's Pierce Brosnan. There's no argument that videogame James Bond is the worst James Bond, though. Here are, rather appropriately, 007 times he flubbed the whole international secret agent thing.
Rouge Agent? :P
should be an opinion piece as reviews for older games arent allowed
The make-up wearing male agent strikes again.
An 8.5? Out of a 100 maybe. Rouge Agent was made in a time when a lot of people still talked about the original Goldeneye for Nintendo 64 (not that they haven't stopped), and EA being themselves released this. Rouge Agent didn't bring anything new to the table, felt rushed, and is a great example of a cash-in.
Good lord please fix the spelling in the title lol
