I beleive they already said Ark was running in 4k 30 fps. I could have sworn I saw an article about it here a few weeks ago.

Ark will run on Xbox One X as follows
1440p 30fps = High settings on PC
1080p 60fps = Medium settings on PC

Ark needs a lot of work. They've already promised the world and underdelivered. How long ago where they touting DX12 support. Great game, but coded like a hog.

As much as i´m excited about the X, i doubt the Ark developers will achieve 1080/60fps on the X.

Ark is running at 720p on 60fps mode on the Pro and can´t even reach 40fps most of the time.

Xbox One X will be used by developers as the bench mark for console games to run with 4K textures and high frame rates. By this time next year we will see the list grow with new and older titles.

Are textures the only part of graphics that people know about? Geometry, render resolution, polygon count etc are all far more important.

In most cases there are ultra textures with ultra-settings. Those both infer that high poly count and rendering are being used.

Do yourself a favor and just wait until Scorpio is release so you can downplay properly.

Always? I feel the last time off the top of my head that they were innovative was the 3DS/Wii era. They are very successful at what they do but I wouldn't say they are as innovative as they used to be.

Your opinion is correct. There's no denying Nintendo's influence on the handheld market that's paved the way for the ROG, Steam Deck, MSI Claw etc but apart from the dock to get a small jump in power, it wasn't really revolutionary, even back when it launched. It was a more refined concept of the Wii U which again wasn't new or groundbreaking back then either.
