The PLAYERUNKNOWN’S BATTLEGROUNDS community has been a bit turbulent lately. On the first day of the Gamescom Invitiational tournament, Korean player Evermore won the grand prize with some decidedly not-exciting play. He spent most of his rounds behind the blue wall of death, avoiding other players. Some complain that this is an unfair or illegitimate strategy. They are dead wrong.
From GI.biz: "Krafton, the Korea-based publisher behind PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds, released its Q3 financial results alongside news on how it's expanding its collection of studios.
The company reported that it saw revenues of $328.5 million and net profits of $171.5 million, the latter marking a year-on-year improvement of 27%.
Krafton also announced it plans to acquire Neon Giant, the developer behind The Ascent, and open a new studio in Canada."

I had a 1-kill Chicken Dinner solo last night. ResidentSleeper all the way. Chased the final guy outside of the playzone with my truck, so it didn't count as my second kill. The final picture is my truck barrelling toward a guy running away, then the Chicken Dinner screen. It was glorious.
