Does the Xbox One X make a difference? Microsoft presented its new product at gamescom 2017

XoneX =a rattling before death ....the Xone failed and failed terribly even to show some fight against its competitors .....

.While on others consoles we speak about how many exclusives left ot play this year (alone) ... Xone gathers dust and we r discussing if a doomed thing (XoneX), something between New gen console and Upgrade will succeed without having LITERALLY nothing to play on it .....no matter the first Hype -sales numbers the fail is imminent (smthing like Wii but in a smaller scale)

Seen the X as a top seller in Amazon's is a good signal.
With 110 titles getting better for the X and two more months away from the release looks as a good future to me.
A couldn't pre-order it because it was too fast. Hope MS give us more chances before November 7.

Where were the numbers for PSVR for the first 6 months? What are the numbers for the camera and the sharpshooter Sony keeps telling us how they can't keep them in stock? What were the numbers for Playstation Plus on the PS3 before Sony used online as the real incentive to become a member? What are the total sales of Vita each month?

We all know why Microsoft stopped revealing numbers, it is the same reason last generation Sony was the first to tell the NPD group to stop publicly announcing numbers each month and decided to group its platforms together (PSP, PS2 and PS3).

The fact is Digital Foundry is very positive about the new XB1X, just because you aligned yourself with the PS4 shouldn't mean you are now obliged to downplay the XB1X.

Also, with the Pro, PS said a while back that 1 in 5 Ps4's sold is a Pro. That gave us some idea of how the console was doing. With MS it's just marketing statements.

How is it hypocritical showing how most companies will always try to spin things? The fact is the XB1X is being delivered as promised. It will be the most powerful console and it looks like so far it's getting lots of attention. Seems to me you guys are being salty about it all and don't want the system to get any positive attention. Which again brings me back to this culture Sony has created.

Where did I suggest or say that Microsoft hiding numbers is OK but Sony hiding them isn't? I said they both do, that's not being hypocritical, it's putting things into context.

I cant give you a number..but its enough that in a day or two it outsold PS4 Pro for 2017. It most likely already surpassed PSVR too.

Lets not make it like it no big deal. Xbox One in 2013 never saw this much hype around pre order. Except that no one was buying it. Now MS looks like it turning things around..

Xbox one x is definitely preferable over ps4 pro. The jump from the Xbox one to the x is significantly larger than the jump from ps4 to PS4 pro. Add in the fact that the Xbox one X is more powerful than the pro, and any non-pc gamer that wants the best version of games will get it on the Xbox one x.

But most consumers aren't interested in the best version of games, they are only interested in the best games, period. This is why PS4 sales are so high, and PS4 pro sales are so low. I expect the Xbox one x to surpass the PS4 pro, but fall way short of both the PS4 and xbox one.

I think it switches up how we think of console generations. I know for phones you have a base version, an S version, and a premium version. Will this be the future for consoles? I personally hope not.

Sony will stick with the traditional console generation (6 years). Microsoft will release a new console everytime they see fit. None of these companies will follow the yearly mobile launch route.

Sony was the first one of the two to release an iterative console. As everyone likes to remind us, the X still isn't out, so only Sony has a console on the market that breaks the traditional 'generation' cycle.

With Sony being the only manufacturer that's released an iterative console this gen, how is it you think that they're going to stick to standard generations and Microsoft won't?

I like the idea of the One X and there is no doubt that all the non pc people will jump on it fast. I think it's too late in this generation though. The pro made it on time but it wasn't worth it really. This is worth the jump but is a little late to the party. Plus it needs games. Like really put your bias aside. The system needs games. I want to see all the no game articles that came with the switch when this comes out. I get that it plays all the available games at higher Rez and all that but I want to see the X launch with something lik hzd. Something that makes me an excited kid bringing home my new toy. I just don't get that so I feel like I need to wait. But if im waiting should I just wait for next gen at this point?

The Xbone is a fail, no matter how the bots try to twist it. Xbone failed to deliver, and failed to compete ever since this console generation began.

Releasing billions of Xbone console iterations won't change that. The Xbone has been overwhelmingly underwhelming, to say the least.

Can't speak too harsh of the Xbone before Christopher the Tyrant goes modding my comments.

I pre ordered one...now its up to Microsoft to make the brand relevant again. I would suggest releasing amazing games on Gold, maybe cutting the price of gold and by throwing money at 3rd party devs to make the One X versions the best out there. I am not suggesting 1st party games in this post because even if they were to start 10 when it launches we wouldn't see them for awhile, just commenting short term.
