Generations over Mania? Please… Generations doesnt have any new ideas in the levels/bosses.
Also a top 7 of Sonic games shouldn’t have any 3D crap and contain at least one of the 8-bit titles.
Sonic CD getting snubbed is weird. Number 1 is definitely interchangable between Sonic 2 and Sonic 3 & Knuckles.
Nothing wrong with putting Generations over Mania. Generations had a lot more to it. Mania was just a bit too short, despite how amazing it was. They're both top-tier Sonic games though.
I don't think mania was to short given 1,2,3, knuckles were between 1 and 3 hours long.
Mania was 5 hours roughly

Nope. Sonic 1 & 2 on the master system were great. Dont confuse these with the game gear versions either.

Sometimes I feel like the Sonic Advanced games just didn’t exist with how much it’s always forgotten 😭
Even as a Sonic fan, I didn't really care for those games, and getting the Chaos Emeralds were freakin' horrible. Even with an emulator and save states, I didn't have the desire to try. I also didn't like most of the levels or bosses either. Unfortunately, DiMPs aren't good at making Sonic games.

If I have to read another one of these lists that contains the sentence "The game that started it all" I'm gonna go nuts.
And when it comes to fan favourite zones in Sonic 3 (he mentioned Hydro City, Marble Garden and Launch Base), I'd replace Launch base and Marble Garden with Ice Cap zone. Never heard anyone refer to the others as favourites.
I sorta' stopped caring about this list when I saw Sonic Spinball (a genuinely great game) ranked lower than some of the noted atrocities.
Sonic and All Stars Racing Transformed is still my favorite kart racer.
I've never really been able to play online tho. D:
Can't even play Team Sonic Racing online cause the servers are broken and don't queue people together.
P.S. This is such a random list. I really don't agree with it. Maybe this really is how they rank it but them just seems odd personally.

After six years I can finally play a follow up in mechanics to Sonic Generations, my favorite 3D Sonic game, in Sonic Forces
Sonic forces is becoming good.
Well, personally, i have enjoyed 3D Sonic games more. I grew up with both and loved both, but the 3D Sonic games are some of my favourite games ever, especially Sonic Adventure, Sonic Adventure 2, Sonic Shuffle, Sonic Heroes and Sonic Generations.
As I said before. There are people who will generally hate any Sonic platforming game just because it's 3D. If it's not a Genesis style Sonic game it's irrelevant and trash game to them.
There are also people who expect 3D Sonic games to be just like the Genesis Sonic games. Which I find very stupid.
People didn't expect Super Mario 64 to be like Super Mario Bros. 3 or World. Why? It's meant to be different.
But no when it comes to the Sonic it has to be like the Genesis games and only have Sonic, Tails, Knuckles and Dr. Eggman otherwise it's a bad game.
Sonic Utopia with a bigger budget and a proper development team would be the 3D Sonic game that we were supposed to get since the beginning. Imagine that being the follow up after Mania. Whew.
