Jewel Quest III is a game that IMC was surprised by, even if there was really only one big surprise. The single player experience is standard to the point of being a little hum-drum. It's just matching… and that's about it. The pacing is a little slow, but there is a lot of content and it's all presented very well. However, the on-line component is a fast, well-made and challenging addition that breathed a ton of life into this title for me.

The Jewel Quest series definitely has a unique flavor for a match three game, and if you're looking for a well-made Bejeweled spin-off, you'll find a solid game here. There's lots of content, though it's nowhere near as varied or entertaining as something like Puzzle Quest: Challenge of the Warlords. You should also know it can get extremely challenging, sometimes frustratingly so for reasons beyond your control.
