The Escapists 2 appears to be a fun loving adventure through misfortune and triumph, but it turns out to be a long and patient game of planning and luck.
From Xbox Wire: "Explore new worlds this weekend in Free Play Days. Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, The Escapists 2, and Train Sim World 2 are available this weekend for Xbox Live Gold and Xbox Game Pass Ultimate members to play from Thursday, February 24 at 12:01 a.m. PST until Sunday, February 27 at 11:59 p.m. PST."
Starting today, The Escapists 2 and Lifeless Planet are free at Epic Games Store. The free game offers run until July 16 at 11 AM Eastern. Once you claim them, they’re yours to keep.
We are almost at 100 free games. Me, my wife, and daughter all had Epic accounts for Fortnite, and now we all have a library of many awesome games. Keep buying those skins kids!

It's a shame downloadable games are so expensive this gen compared to last gen. I saw this in the PS store for 22 euro(!), while it would have been 8-12 euro AT MOST last gen. Back then, I'd take a chance far more often on these games, because they were price seductively.
For 22 bucks though, I can pick up Dark Souls 3 this week. Or a number of other amazing AAA games which are in the bargain-bin.
