Invaders Film
A clandestine tribe uses the Space Invader icon stuck in sign posts to play a video game in the streets and unleash their wild nature.
Invaders is the story of two different characters who live a double life; they are normal citizens with their daily conventional routine, yet, one night a week, they transform into their wild alter egos as players of an illegal clandestine video game that is played physically in the streets using the Space Invaders' icon stuck to sign posts.
Using a phone app that reads as a bidi code the android stickers around the city, players need to complete missions, meet with other players, recover lives and combat using martial arts.
The project has been recently launched on Kickstarter for crowdfunding and it presents a great number of rewards for backers to become active participants in the making of this film as decision makers, feature extras, unlimited feedback and credits.
The target for this film is to become a strong competitor at film festivals for short films, with the aim of raising enough awareness to become a feature film, and perhaps, a video game.
