Give me a jedi-only mode that can make me uninstall Jedi academy 2 then we'll talk.

ccgr2864d ago

Will have to keep an eye on this one

-Foxtrot2864d ago

Well maybe we're just a bit sore after you guys f***** us with the first game.

We wanted it like the older games and now it just seems generic like any other online game.

Aurenar2864d ago

I disagree, they have fixed all the major disappointments from the first game. I think it will be the best shooter this year

-Foxtrot2864d ago

Well we just don't know because it's EA and like past games or any other game made by other developers it's very easy to say "We've fixed X, Y and Z, please buy this new game it's everything the first one should have been" only to get screwed again.

Different if EA were perfect but they aren't

Goldby2864d ago

itll be dumbed down like everything else made with frostbite.

they are movign away from good shooters like BF BC2 and 3&4 to this simple star card BS.

they are tailoring their games to the casuals now....

plus i dont like the idea at all of having jedi/sith from episode 1 & 2 duking it out with rey and disney princess of ren (kylo).

OB1Biker2864d ago (Edited 2864d ago )

I don't think they 'fixed' some gamers disappointments but I love the game and recently gone back to it in anticipation for SWBF2. In any case it's still easy to find a match for good fun just like day one despite what the haters have been saying (on PS4)
Really really can't wait for the new game.

antz11042863d ago (Edited 2863d ago )

Lol that's quite a bold statement after what a cash cow disappointment the first game was. It's one thing if ea had a good track record after the first game but they really dropped the ball hard.

How about an official level editor for Boltgun?

I’ll get Space Marine 2 when it’s cheaper. I don’t pay more than half price for short games.

Glen Schofield: Dead Space Wouldn’t Be Greenlit Today—Publishers Are Afraid to Take Risks

Sector sat down with Glen Schofield—creator of Dead Space and The Callisto Protocol—during the Game Developers Session (GDS) in Prague to discuss the evolution of the game industry, the current challenges of AAA development, and why it's become so hard to get original ideas off the ground in today’s risk-averse environment.

It’s easy enough to say that, but why? It feels weird to me when developers say this but common sense would tell you everything about the idea itself should work.

The idea of the concept seems like a winner at whichever angle you look at it so why would publishers not greenlight it?

… it’s almost as if the majority of publishers are massively incompetent at their jobs. But there’s no surprise to anyone there.
