So the reason wasn't the games or the quality it was hd space? So this person bought a whole console and only bought multi-paltforms instead of just getting a bigger hard drive? And that's irrelevant now that PS4 can also use external hard drives.

Some women are attracted to pretty things. Other women are attracted to size.

The one's who look at the whole package though tend to be happier in the end.

Why do people act as if you must be absolutely loyal to a brand? It's not a big deal if you aren't

franwex2878d ago

People are naturally insecure, so they must validate their purchase and have a tribe mentality to feel good about it.

OB1Biker2878d ago (Edited 2878d ago )

'Loyal' would suppose you stay with your preferred brand over other brands. You can still have your preferred brand and get other brands too in addition.
I mean yea haha the term is overused and a bit meaningless.
People will always have preferences. Nothing wrong with that.
I think people who can't stand other gamers preferences, or 'loyalty' as only them call it, are far more debatable.

OB1Biker2878d ago (Edited 2878d ago )

What's up with the disagrees?
Just curious. People should cut that 'loyal' BS about brands. Sounds as if I'd say I'm loyal to MC Donald because I regularly go there. It's just silly.

Here's the thing that bothers me...

I am not able to call out MS for their shady practices and lack of support, studios, and AAA titles without being called a fanboy. I guess I am pretty loyal to Sony because of how much they have delivered over the years, but I still try to hold their feet to the fire, which most fans of MS fail to do for some reason. I have bought an XBox before and been burned.. multiple times.. yet I can't call them out or hate what they're doing without being called a fanboy..

Loyalty is different than blind, delusional fanboyism, which I hate to say happens WAYYY more on the MS side. There are Sony fans that can't see Sony do any wrong, but on the MS side it is insane..

It's kind of like being told my a teenager what music is the cool music when you already know what you like and what you want. You also know that they are usually full of sh!t and don't know there arse from a hole in the ground.

It's the same here, if someone tells you that you should prefer this or that, tell em to go F*** themselves

Rude-ro2878d ago

Most people are not...
Just a lot of consumers realize Microsoft pays for their media hype and it is very hard to separate shills from legitimate opinions.
That is what comes from years of negative use through media partners. People no longer believe it.

GamingCentaur2878d ago

Why do people act like you should get multiple consoles despite them playing mostly the same games? It’s called being smart.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Splintered Fate Co-op Review [Co-Optimus]

"A few years ago, a mobile game developer called Super Evil Megacorp had the brilliant idea of making a TMNT roguelike. After first releasing it on Apple Arcade, they wisely recognized the game’s potential on other platforms. TMNT: Splintered Fate has slowly but surely come to all major platforms, finally arriving on Xbox today. Not only is Splintered Fate a fine roguelike and co-op game, but it’s also one of the best TMNT games ever made," says Co-Optimus.

Enter the Gungeon is Finally Coming to Mobile, and With Online Co-op to Boot

"Dodge Roll and Devolver Digital's Enter the Gungeon is a hit twin-stick shooter roguelike that debuted nearly ten years ago. Since then, it has received several DLCs and a single-player spin-off called Exit the Dungeon. Well, it seems that there's more life left in Enter the Gungeon yet. It's finally coming to Android and iOS, and with online co-op not found in the big-screen versions," says Co-Optimus.
