In case you missed them go back and try the last 3 forza horizon games. Cool story though.........wish those games were on playstation so people would admit they're good.
I don't think many people say Forza is outright bad. The main comparison I remember is that it's one of only 3 exclusives Xbox ever releases. (Halo, Forza, Gears)
I could be wrong though. Lot of tribalism with video games.
Yes for sure Microsoft is way behind sony in the exclusives department. I was just speaking specifically racing games. To me forza horizon 3 and 5 are the two best racers ever.
Forward horizon is good but it's just not the same vibe and pretty incomparable to the midnight club series
I'll admit I've only played the original Forza, which was VASTLY different than what the franchise became. So I have no real opinion on it. But I'm not a huge racing fan either. I play the Need for Speed games. And Gran Turismo.....sometimes.
The 2008 Rockstar racing game returns!!!!!!!! ResetEra users spotted the re-emergence of Rockstar's 2008 racing game, which had been delisted some years ago before appearing again without ceremony. Rockstar didn't make any big announcements about the game coming back, and it doesn't appear to have been relisted on other platforms.
I literally pulled this game up on the Xbox Store 2 hours ago complaining about it being gone for digital gamers. 2 hours later, the announcement has come! Wish they could bring the servers back up. I miss those crazy car meetups...
UPDATE: Can confirm, game is available for $14.99 in the US

Between this and R* giving out free DLC for LA Noire & MP3 on PC - I really hope this means they're going to start paying more attention to their back library.
We need Max Payne 3 on Xbox backcompat. And then new entries from MP, LA Noire, Bully and Midnight Club.
I don't really know what you can do with Max Payne, outside of remakes.
Max Payne 3 really did feel like an end to that story.

I agree absolutely with Ridge Racer, but would prefer what Namco did with Ridge Racers on the PSP. Basically pull Ridge Racer 1-5 together, make it all about drifting and create new tracks with the same oldskool Arcade Feel. Wipeout however? Redout and Ballistic NG replaced it for me. I miss Rock N Roll Racing in this list
RR 6 & 7 were both good on the 7th gen but it is surprising there wasnt an 8th gen RR8. Ace Combat got a release on 8th gen but not RR of all things (unless you count the stripped down vita version).
I'd love to see the return of PGR and Tokyo Extreme Racer.
I would love to see Rockstar put another Midnight Club out. I remember that game fondly, the customization was top notch at the time. It had a nice arcady feel to the driving, but looking at the cars was the main point.

street legal racing series doesn't get enough credit, still one of the best racing games i played when it comes to tuning AND the community on there is/was super strong for about 15 years lOl. So many mods and stuff brilliant game.
