Recently horror fans learned of the sad news that George A. Romero, the father of zombie films had passed away at the age of 77. We have Romero to thank for our idea of what a zombie is. Ask anyone young or old to do their best zombie impression, and they’ll groan and stumble along with arms raised just like the undead in Night Of The Living Dead.
