Aven Colony is a City-Building game similar to that of SimCity and Anno series. It’s is heavily Sci-fi based as it is set in the future and on another planet, it also has elements of strategy integrated into its gameplay. It tells the tale of humanity’s first colonization of a new world beyond our solar system.
Microsoft is a little slow this month when it comes to announcing the Games with Gold lineup for June 2022. This has led to the lineup leaking ahead of the announcement.
This is just plain sad, they are basically charging you for online and that's it, I guess this goes hand in hand with the "tell me you only play AAA games without telling me you only play AAA games"
Both Gamepass and Gold games offerings have gone way downhill.

I actually really enjoyed Aven Colony when it was on Gamepass. I got it for free from Epic Store a few months back.

The Epic Games Store provides free games on a weekly basis, and the service looks set to run up until the end of 2021 at the very least. Epic offers out between one and three free games every Thursday. To start receiving freebies, just register a free Epic account and enable two-factor authentication. At this point, Epic has distributed well over 100 free games, and there is no indication that the scheme will be discontinued anytime soon.
