Look I understand that now a days due to success of dark souls people want harder games but why not allow the game to gave different difficulty settings so people can choose how they want to play

That's why I don't touch games with one difficulty for all unless it's GTA

Some people don't have enough time to replay one level 25 times so how about you add a easy or normal difficulty

I feel like developers and publishers are cutting off more than half of its fanbase by only going after the few elite

@showtimefolks How old are you? I ask in a serious manner. Games back in the day had no saves/checkpoints or difficulty settings. Mario never had any of that and it's still to this day an amazing game. Crash 1 is definitely a bit harder due to the added physics but it's not impossible. I was frustrated at first but have now spent a fair amount of time and currently have 17/26 gems including I believe 3 colored gems (now those are god damn hard and not from the original in the same way).

The only complaint I have is the jumping feels like it is a smaller jump so your precision has to be exact with no room for error. Land on that edge and you go sliding off. Still it's very doable with a little bit of practice.

Gamer I an 34 back than there was not enough money(as a child I mean) and plenty other time and now with work and family just not enough time to sit through games to try again and again

I wasn't making a comment about crash I was just talking in general thar most games should offer different difficulty options

The trilogy retains most of the difficulty of the originals to remain faithful.

The current sales seem to show that most buyers don't care for the supposed hard difficulty.

Difficulty settings won't work for Crash because the difficult part is the platforming and it has been always difficult since 1996

In laymans terms...

The Crash 'model' (hitbox) used to be a rectangle but has now had it's corners sanded down to curved edges. In the original you used to get lucky by hanging on the edge, now you slide off and you have to be more precise with the timing of the jump and the landing. This is not a great problem in Crash 2 and 3 (the platforming movement style has been taken from Crash 3), but the reworking of Crash's jumping is a bigger problem in Crash 1. Before in Crash 1 you could make jumps from distance from a standing position because that was the way the Crash platforming was worked in the original, now you need some momentum to make those jumps and a greater deal of precision and timing is needed (because of the curved edges of the hitbox, it reduces the size of the landing 'space'), leading to the 'problems' in levels like High Road and Native Fortress etc.

for everyone complaining that this game is too hard....GIT GUD B***H!

This generation is soft. When I was a kid I used to get chased home everyday by a guy swinging a bike chain at me, and my parents were like "gotta fight your own battles". Nowadays, parents call the cops over someone saying mean things to their kids on the interwebs.

I didn't get chased by a guy with a bike chain but god-damn you're right xD

Nsane numbers. Can we not get a current patch for the trilogy and CTR 60fps and/or 4K? And might as well release a PC port for NF while you're at it, make it happen!

It was the other day I was thinking of picking up crash team racing because I like kart racers like Mario kart and Team Sonic Racing, but I was shocked to find out that Crash team racing is still 30 fps.
