Steam store update and UI changes presentation now online

Valve have been hosting presentations about upcoming changes to the Steam store, and one of those talks can now be watched online.

What's so terrible about it? I use Origin, nothing wrong with it, I use Blizzard, nothing wrong with it, I also use Windows store for Forza Horizon 3 and nothing wrong with it. In fact that uses dedicated servers and matchmaking is a total breeze.

Steam is great for a unified service but the PC is an open platform, but the advantage is there is no online cost.

Agree. Steam is probably the best PC platform, but not by leaps and bounds. I use Windows 10 store, Origin, Uplay, GOG, along with Steam. No issues with any of them.

I like the event calendar idea, although with the amount of games I have on steam I can see that being almost unmanageable in itself.
