Mass Effect 4 should just make Mass Effect 1 but better with current tech. Fans would be happy. As far as romance, they should take notes from the Witcher and Cyberpunk.
Later Bioware games have to little build up. You can have a normal conversation and all of a sudden BAM! The character you talk to becomes super flirty.
Reminds me of Baldur’s Gate. I wanted to practice some magic and Gale made it super weird. Not even gonna mention Astarion.

To think that Bioware at some point was capable of doing games like this, you see those characters and remember them like good old friends, and now check ME Andromeda, Anthem, Veilguard etc and wonder what the hell happened.

BioWare thinks Mass Effect: Andromeda was a better game than what reception suggested; taught the studio not to shoehorn open-world without any meaningful content in it.
I played it and it wasn't as bad as people said. Is it in the 8-10 range? No.
It's a 6-7, which means it's a solid game.
Veilguard and Andromeda are of similar level to me.

I agree with you It was a 6.5 type game. Gameplay was solid everything else was lacking. Playing at launch with all the issues was just absurd. EA could have let the developers keep patching and fix the game but they stopped just like they did with anthem. It’s crazy to think multi billion dollar publishers can’t afford to keeping patching their games get medium size developers can support the game for years

Except 6-7 doesn't translate as solid. 6 means a bit flimsy, but still good/enjoyable if you can look past the flaws. 7, a little less flimsy, and enjoyable. 8-10 would be "solid".

I played this game back when I wanted to give every game I bought a fair chance and finish it, it was the reason why I stopped doing so, god the game was bad
I actually enjoyed Andromeda. It wasn't a 10/10, by any means, but I played it years after the fact, after a lot of patching, and I had a good time with it.
I liked it as well, and also played it for the first time over a year after it was released. The original trilogy was a better story overall IMO but I still enjoyed Andromeda.

So delusional, the title was an embarrassment to the original trilogy. it’s the equivalent of 2042 to the battlefield franchise.
Really hope that's not true, they should keep at it with the fixes. I really wanted DLC to do with introducing *SPOILERS* the last missing ark with all the 2nd tier species from OG ME series.
A bad release shouldn't mean the end of a franchise. It should mean restructuring the Dev's employees, firing a bunch of useless people and getting some real talent and hard workers in to make the next title.
dissapointed as i thought the game was great,. Each to there own but i enjoyed this more than horizan zero dawn.

I wish the game didn't get hated as much as it did as it's a really good game not as good as Mass Effect 1 and 2 but better then 3 and of course most of the people who hate on the game only played the 10 hour trial and not the whole game and they just jump on the hate train and go on forum's and attack people for enjoying it.
Good this game was pure utter garbage, please kill it with fire.
The only thing that could make Mass Effect worth it again is if the property was given to the A team and they did a complete reboot.
