Spider-Man Original PS4 is Running Great,Actual Rendering Resolution on PS4 Pro To Be Revealed Later

Insomniac Games' Spider-Man is apparently out in the first half of 2018 and looked great at E3 2017.

Visually and story wise it looks great and I doubt that anyone looked at it and worried about the resolution.

sounds like me on this site when the xbox one launched before the onslaught of bashing i received from the ps4 fanboys. funny how things come full circle. not a dig at you... just a general observation on this site.

Look at it this way:
Checkerboard 4K rendering to native 4K is of diminishing returns. Let's look at a beach it's boulders versus rocks for an (extreme) illustration, that was org XB1 to PS4, now we move to XBX vs PS4 Pro. To illustrate we start looking at sand in Hawaii compared to sand in CapeCod, USA. From the same distance that we were looking at the boulders and rocks. While the sand in Hawaii is much more fine than the course sand at the Cape we can't tell the difference really from that same distance as we were from the boulders and rocks. Sure if you get on your hands and knees ya it's a big difference from 6 inches away! Most sit at least 6 feet away from their sand errrr TV. So there ya have it...

I was excited for this game until the gameplay reveal. To me it borrows to much from batman and to many onscreen button prompts. I couldn't careless about the resolution I'm more worried about the gameplay at this point.

That's not really the point. It appears to borrow to much from batman and QTE is another thing I don't like. So until I see more I'm not sold on Spiderman. I do have the right to my opinion don't I? Or do I need to follow...

They are obviously aiming for 2160p but considering how ambitious the game is 1440p might be the final resolution. Although I have faith in Insomniac since the Ratchet and Clank Reboot ran at 2160p
