Recent rumors about a potential Days Gone remaster for the PS5 is exciting news, but if true, this release would also sting a bit.
Would be the same problem there. Why? It already looks fine and is already boosted to 60FPS on PS5.
Sony will continue to be big headed and ignore infamous series remasters requests also days gone too. I think DG looks so good even on ps4 but playing it in 60 fps is a welcomed bonus that make sme enjoy my 2nd playthrough even more
I loved days gone so much. One of my favorite open worlds ever in a game. It captured the oxidized northwest so well. To this day still my favorite Sony exclusive.
The only way I can see this is worth it is if they port it to unreal engine 5 and use all the new fancy features seeing as how the original uses unreal engine.
Also people really need to get it straight. It's not that a sequel got canceled. It's that a guy's pitch for a sequel got canceled and he was bitter about it. Another pitch could have been greenlit we don't know
Let's face it, it was already a fantastic looking game for its time and it still holds up today. I've modded it on PC and I can see how much better it can look though. Just because it runs 4K/60 on PS5 isn't always a great metric. It'd look better with RT and better textures. Naturally proper Dualsense additions would be great as well.
With God of War: Ragnarok launching on PC later this month, we decided to take its prequel for a spin on the Steam Deck OLED. Fortunately, the game looks and runs admirably with consistent frametimes and sharp textures.
Sea of Thieves, the pirate-themed game from Rare, has reportedly surpassed one million copies sold on the PS5 per a new report.
Yea, we’ll be seeing plenty more Xbox exclusives head to PlayStation..
Makes sense. The game sold 5 million copies on Steam and had 30 million players in 2022. So it does have a hook; what it needed to sell on PS was essentially just to be available there.
Honestly less than I would've expected based on the buzz around release, but still a great milestone.
