Looks fantastic! I'm really excited that it'll be coming to PC later in the year as well.

Bigpappy2922d ago

This is is a good move by Capcom. I think it will do very well on all platforms.

shauzy2922d ago

i'm scared for the pc port, remember how japanese games are on pc? almost always bad ports, but lets hope for the best

Maxor2922d ago

Japan is starting to get better at making PC ports than most Western devs. All of Capcom games latest games runs great on PC. Hell, even Square Enix is getting better, Nier can easily hit a constant 60 FPS on the PC which is something the PS Pro can't version can't even do.

NecoTehSergal2921d ago

I'm sure the PC fans and Elitists will go crazy for it.

ULTp0ltergeist2922d ago

Getting this for Scorpio, please no dislikes it's just a preference. I really mean it /s

Allsystemgamer2922d ago

Just get a pc and PS4...better performance on the pc and you can still use an Xbox controller plus actual exclusives.

meka26112921d ago

Wow 15 downvotes for stating his preference, the fanboyism on this site is unreal.

cartoonx12921d ago

lol those disagrees. unless you want to play @ 1080p with budget pc, scorpio will be best for multiplatforms. funny enough but im leaning towards scorpio + standard ps4 combo rather thn pc + ps4 lol.

UnHoly_One2921d ago

Same here. I was excited when I saw this, and more excited when I found out I could play it on X1X. :)

SKullDugger2921d ago

Don't worry about the dislikes at the end of the day its your choice forget about the outside noise aka fanboys.

Hearing the news regarding the PC version was wonderful.

starchild2921d ago

Yeah, I've only played Monster Hunter Freedom Unite on the PSP, but I liked it and I'm definitely interested in getting Monster Hunter World for my PC. I'm glad they went multiplatform with this game.

Blu3_Berry2922d ago

About time we get a high quality monster title not held back by handhelds.

xX-oldboy-Xx2922d ago

No truer words spoken, stoked it's finally happening. Now people need to support it, hope it does good numbers.

slavish02922d ago

I thought this was exclusive?

Asuka2922d ago

Nah nowhere in the reveal did it mention exclusive, but it is nice to finally have it outside Nintendo/handheld platforms.

Zeref2922d ago

If you don't see the word exclusive at the conference, it means it's not exclusive.

EatCrow2922d ago

Well there wasn't any exclusive word at any point except for spiderman... Doesn't mean god of War isn't exclusive.

They intentionally left it out.

fenome2922d ago (Edited 2922d ago )

Days Gone, God of War and Uncharted are exclusive, they just didn't have a big voice over or words on the screen showing it. That's the cool thing about having first party studios.

Edit:

I'm not saying this is exclusive, I'm just saying that they didn't paste exclusive all over everything, including timed Indies *cough, cough*

Zeref2922d ago

They already showed these games so everyone knows they are exclusive.

timotim2922d ago

@fenome

Regardless of what you thought about MS's show, if anyone has a timed exclusive agreement, it wise to showcase that and advertise that its such. Having these game games launch on Xbox first for 6-12 months is a big deal...this game will most likely come put day and date on all platforms...Microsoft having a ton timed exclusives means they will lock up gamers on there platforms for those that want to play it first on the superior platform when it hits the shelves.

People were mostly wishing it was exclusive.

xX-oldboy-Xx2922d ago

Personally I just want it on PlayStation, doesn't need to be exclusive.

MegamanXXX2922d ago

I'm more interested in Monster Hunter 5 because of Single player

UnHoly_One2921d ago

Seemed to me that Sony was intentionally trying to be deceptive.

They never mentioned anything being exclusive, they just showed a bunch of stuff off, and mixed in the multiplats so that people would think they were exclusive.

Just like how they like to buy advertising deals and make it look like they are the only system you can play it on.

That really aggravates me.

Happy to know its coming to X. Will be interesting to see how far they can push it there

81BX2922d ago

Yeah I'm super excited!

TC7312922d ago

So glad they finally decided to put MH on consoles that aren't meant for children.

Gaming_Cousin2922d ago

So I guess you won't be playing it then.

He's been in most, if not all the games and is iconic to the series. I guess he can be considered the unofficial mascot but every game has its own unique monster as the poster boy.

Because you had fun. I started Monster Hunter with my son on PSP 17 years ago. We put a ton of hours into the games since then. Never did I look back at any game I’ve sunk a lot of hours into and think, I might regret having all that fun.
