I don't own a PS4 and I love MS to death, but NOTHING will satisfy me more than seeing a few exclusives. I understand that the Scorpio will be a beast, but to be totally honest w/you......if there's no games, then what's the incentive to uproot my entertainment center; spend 600-700$ on a 4k TV, and 429.99$(you heard it here first) on a system with no games? Frieza was worshipped by hordes of loyal followers, conquered many worlds and ruled the universe.

Goku had to train considerably to even stand a change against Frieza. Even when he arrived on the planet Namek he wasn't even close to where he needed to be to even challenge first form Frieza. But battles against the Ginyu Force and a near mortal wound swelled his power but it still wasn't enough until he transformed to an SSJ.

Not really. You do understand that the average gamer is 34 years old and more ppl overy the age of 34 game more than ppl between the ages of 18-34? Meaning. ....by now ppl are busing what they are accustomed to. It's true that exclusives are indicative of how great a system is, but some ppl like REAL Americans understand that MS is an American company, some ppl actually like competition and xbox online is the best place to game. Sony has amazing single player games, MS has great MP games. Sony has little controllers for all the miniscule( in all areas) ppl, MS has bigger controllers. Can someone explain to me why the PS4 having a 50% more powerful GPU didn't matter compared to the Xbox One's but now that the Scorpio has a 50% faster GPU than the PS4 Pro it's some big deal? Well the street goes both ways - there were plenty of people pixel counting and stating that the difference between 1080p and 900p (or 1080p upscale) was night and day, and that the PS4 was the best place to play because it has the better performing multiplats.

No one has a problem with marketing deals. PlayStation was featured at the conference, pay attention. MS has a marketing deal for Anthem, EA talked up Scorpio because of it.

The deals don't matter in the end because Sony is still going to sell more software regardless due to their user base being larger. Microsoft simply has to make the case that regardless of deals, Scorpio will have the superior games with cleaner visuals and better performance. Who cares about a deal when said console is running games at double the frames...

Clearly you misunderstood what I'm saying. I'm not saying every game on Scorpio will automatically double that of Pro in frames...but in some cases Scorpio will be running @60 while Pro is running @30. Heck, the fact that Pro struggles a lot with a consistent frame rate means that Scorpio will have an advantage.

@Ashlen I have no idea as to why you posted that link, and I'm baffled as to why you received so many likes. EA didn't RAVE about the Pro, in fact...they we're talking more about HDR, and the fact that there will be an upgrade on the original PS4 which will allow it to have HDR. They also said that they wanted to enhance your gaming experience, and they mentioned that the PS4 was just hitying it's stride. They didn't say anything special about the Pro, just using it as a platform to buffer slum ass Andromeda. The funny thing is, that's the first time I've ever clicked on a link that someone posted on this site and I found 0 evidence that supported what you we're trying to articulate.

I never understood the hype around scalebound so I'm fine. But, I can't wait to get my Scorpio and since my job has me in charge of a special project for overtime I think I pretty much already paid for my Scorpio working yesterday.

For me the number of "exclusives" is not important to me it the exclusives themselves. I like racing and Forza beat GT hands down and this is from a person that has been playing GT from the beginning. I don't like God of war, infamous, kingdom hearts, jrpgs, games like blood borne , the order, and last of us, GT 5&6 were disappointing, etc.. So, all this "exclusives" talk means nothing to people like me that mostly play 3rd party games. All of which will look better and run better on the Scorpio and that's a fact that developers continue to say. I also like that all the Xbox one backlog games I have will work at no extra charge and I can get rid of them.

And before you say it I already have a high end gaming PC but, some games I prefer on a big screen and 7.1 surround sound.

It's a great time to be a gamer and I think Scorpio will push Sony to out an even better product. I have owned ever PlayStation except for 4 because none of it exclusives appealed to me except Zero horizon but, I won't by it this late for one game.

You're right. But there is a difference between these two projects. PS4 users are satisfied with their consoles and feel no need to buy Pro. XBO users feel inferior and humiliated and need to heal their egos to feel well. They will buy "Scorpio" at any price. "Scorpio" will sell more than Pro.

And yet I guarantee you the difference between 3rd party games on Scorpio and Pro will be negligible. Yes, MS will have the bragging rights of "most powerful console" but I don't think Pro owners will have any reason to be jealous.

Why do I say this? Because I've already spent the last 3 years watching comparison videos of multiplatform games running high end PC specs (much higher than Scorpio) and PS4 and even there I didn't find the differences to be all THAT big. For Xbox fans, I'm happy that you guys are getting the console you probably always wanted to begin with. However if you think these multiconsole games are going to look monumentally better than they will on Pro, you're going to be disappointed.
