Push Square: "Virtual reality is at its mind-blowing best when it’s representing physical objects in 3D space. Wield two PlayStation Move controllers in the excellent Job Simulator, for example, and you can practically juggle with digital objects such is the accuracy with which the wands are replicated within the title’s cartoon world. The newly released PlayStation VR Aim Controller, ahem, aims to take this immersion to the next level, placing a plastic firearm in your hands and leveraging it in conjunction with the PlayStation VR headset to transform you into a super soldier."
The story starts of astronauts that are about to come back home from outer space. They were studying radiation that is coming from some kind of source and when the astronaut (you) goes outside closer to the radiation, in a small spaceship, he and the other astronauts gets sucked in a whirlpool of radiation and what seems to be a wormhole of some sort and they end up in… other dimension?

"The concept of limited releases for technology sometimes makes sense, but I can't quite figure out why Sony's PS VR Aim Controller is in such short supply," says Matt at Gamers Sphere.
Same story with the PS4 camera when it came out, limited stock. The good news is Sony is finally stocking PSVR better.
they didn't anticipate huge sales for it considering how people are still treating VR as a niche product. on the other hand, I finally came across a PSVR + camera bundle recently but my god...it cost more than the Pro! I can't cough out that much money?! hmm...guess I have to wait a little bit longer
PlayStationing writes: "PlayStation VR has already taken the leap of immersion by putting us inside the game; paired with some 5.1 surround sound headphones you can totally escape reality. The only draw back so far are the controllers. The Move controller is better than the DualShock 4, however Sony has gone one step further and developed a two handed gun controller, but to keep it family-friendly it is referred to as the “Aim” controller."
would have been cool if they included a small plastic stand for the thing to sit on. I can live without a charging cable since I have enough of them lying around.
The AIM is remarkable, ppl need to understand it is not a novelty, it actually makes you more accurate and improves your play.
Winning piece of hardware here, by the looks of it.
I'll hopefully be getting my hands on both it and Farpoint after E3.
So I got my Farpoint and Aim controller, here is my opinion. When you pick up the aim controller for the first time, it feels good and quality, but it looks a bit silly with its glowing orb at the end of it. Any skepticism and doubt goes away once in the game as that aim controller turns into a Halo/Destiny style assault rife and now feels the part. Traversing the Halo/Destiny like planet landscape with a Halo/Destiny like Assault rifle feels and plays amazing. Bringing up the rifle to look down its laser sights is incredible. All I can say is, Gearbox, 343 industries, and other big shooter IP devs need to play Farpoint, I want a Borderlands game with this controller!
Also, we need dual pistol controllers like this, with the thumbsticks and buttons.
