Push Square: "Farpoint launches for PlayStation VR this week alongside the PlayStation VR Aim Controller. The game represents the first blockbuster first-person shooter to be released for Sony's virtual reality headset, but is it any good? If the written word is more your thing, then you’ll find a full text review through here, but we’ve also put together a video review which includes all of our impressions in addition to over ten minutes of PS4 Pro gameplay so do check it out above, and do subscribe to our channel if you haven't already."

I got it. It's not great but it's fun. The Aim controller has a lot of potential. It felt good and is fun to use.

I would give the game a 7.8/10(so far) and the Aim controller a 9/10. The Aim is super awesome.....not perfect, but definitely a great addition to psvr as far as peripherals. Definitely enjoying it!

Robo Quest VR looks pretty slick with that fast gunplay.

Shadowgate VR looks good too, perhaps in the vein of elder scrolls.

Shadowgate VR. Thought it might be connected to the old point and click game. But it still looks good.

y'know, VR needs something can can only be achieved while in VR. Immersion isn't enough, it has to have a hook that is so cool that you would want to own one. Having the same games you could play on console doesnt warrant a purchase.

Resident Evil 4 Remake and Village and Gran Turismo 7 alone make it worth it for me. The difference VR makes is so large it more than doubles the enjoyment of these types of quality VR ports. So I disagree. I would love a future where all great 2d games got some kind of a hybrid port to VR.

PSVR2, PCVR, and Quest VR Are About to Have Some of Their Best Months for Games

Virtual Reality (VR) gamers will be eating well the next few months with what seems like solid titles releasing from now until December.

Has Hitman: World Of Assassination been confirmed for PCVR? If not, then this article is seriously misleading.

CrimsonIdol195d ago

It's confirmed on Steam VR yes. It's right there on the store page.

I’ll have to put the dual sense down and pick up metro and alien vr to see me out till the end of the year. Good to see companies supporting psvr 2 .

Babadook7195d ago

Looks like a tremendous few months coming up. I won't be able to keep up with these.

UltimateOwnage195d ago

VR is really starting to flesh out recently. The hardware is finally getting accessible and with the quality it takes to deliver a compelling and immersive experience. Good times ahead. I hope Flat2VR Studios can bridge the gap with some excellent conversions as the industry matures.
