Not that I don’t like them or anything like that, but they have never been something that I would gravitate to on my own. That being said, the more of these that I play the more I seem to find enjoyment in them – turning the virtual pages and watching a story unfold has become something that I look forward to – which is something I never thought I would say. For this latest review I was taken even further out of my element as I was tasked with reviewing Hakuoki: Kyoto Winds, a visual novel that sees a female protagonist having to choose being a cast of eligible male bachelors in 19th century Japan."
