True, but it doesn't hurt being able to play the multiplat titles at their best. Obviously exclusives matter greatly, as it is usually what draws a gamer to said platform, but 3rd party games still sell a TON on these machines, so they still do play a factor.
Exclusives are nice, but I play more multiplats than anything else.
Games are first, then powerful, and easy to develop for hardware, also price, and demographics you want to target, and finally good and constant message of what your trying to sell. MS has at least succeed on three fronts, the other two that's up in the air.
exactly, powerful hardware without nice exclusives wont matter, sadly MS Gears and Halo are going downhill, they need fresh and new exclusives if they want to keep the fans
