I really don't even think CEO's should get bonuses. If I were a CEO and I made millions, I would like to think I wouldn't. Or if I had to legally, I would maybe find a way to disperse among the lower tier employees. Take my bonus and turn it into stocks to disperse out to those employees evenly.

I remember when I started working, my department manager used to gift us stuff each year, one year I got a bottle of Scotch, another it was a small basket of treats... But that was also a lot less money than what we're talking about here.

It would be ideal if the CEO could gift a bonus to everyone under them.

CEO's work for shareholders and are shareholders they also rely on share price to receive their multimillion dollar paydays and they will happily fire thousands to protect shares. CEO's are there to extract the most value out of a company and give it to the wealthy few.

That is so god damn fucked up!! Unfortunately...I know damn well I will be still buying their games but shit like this should seriously have some sort of repercussion of some sort. 550 people get their lives totally up-ended and the leadership get a bonus on top of an already high salary. 25M could set those 550 people up with an annual salary each of $45,000. Depending on where you live, that is a very livable salary even...

This is what I don’t understand about people. Much like the football industry their reasoning for why they pay/give such high value bonuses/salaries is due to the HUGE amount of money being made has to be shared out somewhere…. Yet these same companies complain that they have to increase prices because their products/bills are just to expensive to make that they can’t do it without increasing…. Then believe it or not there’s certain members of the general public that will fight for these companies to charge extra because they believe it only fair because they’re being told so.

I mean, I'll probably be called a communist or worse, but I have always felt there needs to be mandated limits between what the highest paid and lowest paid workers at companies.

It's such a simple solution and it would strengthen the middle class which has factually been proven to improve the national economy.

The fact of the matter is, the more the wealth is shared the more people can buy the things the companies make and the more people are needed to make those things. It's the circle of success.

The amount of wealth concentrated by the few at the top end is insane compared to the lower end, before I started working at my current job, the CEO of the time capped his pay at 10 times what their lowest paid worked was.

We really need to enshrine something like that in a law. That CEOs can only take a multiple of their lowest paid worker, and cap their bonus based on performance, plus other metrics so that they can't treat their workers like crap and get paid out.

It's outrageous, you have people at the top making more in bonuses than hundreds of people combined will spend in their entire lifetime while people at the bottom can't even afford to live in the cheapest housing and have enough food to sustain themselves.

Such a ridiculous company. Cancel bully 2, take 10+ years to allow rockstar to make GTA 6, allow Grove St games to butcher the Gta remasters and add online drm to Gta IV PC. It's ridiculous. This is a monster of a company. So anti consumer. I haven't bought a rockstar or take 2 game new in years.

Not surprising at all, that's how all these companies do, the ones we work at as well. Start off sending folks home because of "labor" cut hours, and lay people off. I always heard how they bragged about bonuses. I rarely even talk to upper management or their lil vice president's etc when they come visit the workplace. I don't even like shaking their hands, this shhi will never stop smh!
