Pj Mischuk will be talking about one of the problems gamers are facing while purchasing video games today. One of those problems is Season Passes and DLC added on as an extra purchase after we already obtained our favorite games. Major game publishers like EA, Ubisoft are suspected of DLC Abuse. But, the profits brought in by selling extra content provides a good reason to stick with business as usual.
Take-Two: "We know there have been some concerns from Borderlands fans about Take-Two’s Terms of Service. Maintaining transparency and confidence with the community here is always our goal, and we wanted to address some of these concerns."
Do not miss the Final Fantasy IX lottery commemorating its 25th anniversary and see the new merch release by Square Enix.
I’m hoping Xbox Showcase will be where the Remake gets announced… freaking all this stuff with FF9’s anniversary and still nothing on the Remake…
In recent years, Ubisoft has canceled several games, one of them being a project code-named Renaissance.
I no longer purchase games with season passes and/or DLC before even the game's release. Down vote, debate, argue all you want but I'm voting with my wallet that it's unacceptable to try any way possible to break games up to resell content. And the fact most of these companies will try anything to persuade is just more proof some people jumped on the bandwagon of going against this practice.
And before people start twisting my words around, if a game is released with already planned future content that's not free is what I'm boycotting. And yes, there are games without the need of expansions, DLC, or season passes; unfortunately they're mostly indie titles - most are better than AAA games.
You have to be a complete f**king moron, if you need this explained to you, and didn't already see it coming 10 years ago. Here we are today though, with the current state of things. Further proof of just how stupid the average "gamer" is.
Not much else is funnier than seeing these cement headed idiots actually try and defend and justify this garbage. I've had some good laughs over the years, and I'm sure I'll have some good laughs at the comments in this article. Same as always.
