What's Call of Duty WW2 like in 2021? Ahead of the release of Vanguard, let's check out Sledgehammer's last game from 2017.
The PlayStation Summer sale expands with a load of new discounts.
Including indies I’ve bought like more than 20 games, good deals all around.
Told my partner to stop me from browsing. We'll see how that goes, the first part of the sale already got me.
Anthem 85% off? Thought they went free to play. Has the game gotten any better?
Edit-Nvm, it's Europe anyway.
I might finally go for Black Desert. I've been playing ESO (without MTing my characters) for some throw away entertainment, but the combat is so "#$&&%.
Highly recommend the "metro saga bundle" £25 all 3 games and all DLC plus free upgrade for ps5 exodus 😊
This website is stupid, just like newnormative and cliqst..all owned by the same people.
And if the post is true and the game is indeed engaging in revisionist history, I will not buy it. They may as well deny the holocaust while they're at it.
sigh, of course it is. Were there even female combat soldiers in WWII?
I dont give a damn if games have females characters or not. I like playing with female characters, but dont shove them in where it makes no sense.
Okay I can understand different ethnicities cause it was WW2 and you had everyone taking part but I draw the line on lady soldiers cause women did not fight in WW2
Having "a French Resistance fighter named Rousseau . . . playable during the game’s campaign" as a female character sounds okay. But I swear to God, if I purchase the game and I'm playing Omaha beach and there's even one female soldier running around . . . I will break the game disk in half, burn it, and mail it to activision. There's no need to revise history to push agendas.
EDIT: "As Sledgehammer itself noted during the event, World War 2 was not just an American conflict and featured a diverse set of people, including men, women and people of all different ethnicities, and it’s important to represent that."
GTFO, the game's campaign doesn't even open until after the Americans join the war . . . 5 years after it began. It's not just an American conflict, but the campaign focuses almost entirely on the American part of the war? I mean, I'd be fine if they chose that because it's the setting they want, but them for them to try and talk about how it's "not just an American conflict" and how "it’s important to represent that" while blatantly focusing on the American part of the war is just a complete joke.
Wow , went to my local GAMESTOP today and the whole store has COD WW2 on all windows and everywhere in the store . They even had COD WW2 baseball hats everywhere with all the GAMESTOP employees wearing them and camouflage netting everywhere. Wow, ACTIVISION spends a ton of money promoting the COD franchise .
