Blizzard’s Plans on Fixing Competitive Overwatch
Since Overwatch’s new update 1.10 landed to console and PC, a big change has been implemented to the competitive mode assault maps. The idea was to reduce the amount of draws by putting in a percentage based mechanic that requires both teams to upkeep the highest percentage in order to achieve a victory, establishing a more win/loss scenario. However, since the update, a major exploit has been found for which if the attacking team doesn’t get a capture point then the opposite team only needs a 1% cap in order to win the game on an attack (yes, I’m aiming this at you tracer players, damn you!)
