The Perfect 30 Games for the SNES Classic Edition

Alex S. from Link-Cable writes: "In recent days, rumors have been swirling that Nintendo is working on a SNES Classic Edition, to be released this holiday, ostensibly it would be similar to the NES Classic Edition from this past winter. Well these rumors got our minds buzzing here at Link-Cable HQ as to which games would be the best to be crammed inside a tiny, little Super Nintendo. So like we did with our list of the Perfect 30 Games for Game Boy Classic Edition, let’s take a look at the perfect 30 games for a (hypothetical) SNES Classic Edition. Just remember, this isn’t a list of the best SNES games (we’ll do that later) but rather the 30 games that best represent Nintendo’s 2nd home console."

A friend once said Chrono *igga yes he was black.

Maybe he added it, it seems to be there now. Seiken Densetsu 3 would be great, albeit it has not been released in the west.

He seemed to add it to the image but still no mention of it, which is still a fail. How can a so called SNES fan fail to mention what is arguably the best JRPG ever?

Without CT, this list is an automatic fail.

His list needs Chrono Trigger, FF III (VI), Donkey Kong Country 2 and Yoshi's island. I like the pictured list better than his actual list and that only has 25 games.

Some things never change. I went back through Yoshi's Island just the end of last year for the umpteenth time and it's still amazing.

Mavericks and mayhem - Mega Man X: A First-Timer's Perspective

"I love classic SNES games and Mega Man X was one such title that I felt compelled to play and I finally did so on the SNES Mini. It doesn't have many action games and the only other 2D shooters are Super Metroid and the controller-throwing Contra III: The Alien Wars." - Alex
