It wouldn't look any better, because the game would have to be copied to the disc 6 times to make up for slow read speed of a 2x sp blu-ray drive. Just like ps3 games. It's hilarious how ps3 fanboys harp about blu-rays 50GB worth of disc space, while their playing an 8 hr game with a 5GB mandatory install.
Actually PS3 games also use compressed texture and in Uncharted Naughty dog compressed textures much more than in any other game and from the Cell processor they decompressed them and feeded to Cahce of Renderer directly. If you see with technical eye definitely MGS4, Uncharted look better because of texture compression also its a good thing and MS where not using this technology before cause most of their games where being developed much earlier than that of PS3. BUt now this technology is on 360 too so be ready to see graphics like those on 360 too.
Yes turn10 is using this technology for Forza 3, Alan Wake is using much modified form of this technic. Gears 2 is also using this technic.
360 really isn't able to have graphics like the PS3. UE3 engine looks great and superb, isn't that enough?
I love the guy who has a tatooed face but... They're badass soldiers who happen to be in love is just crap and cliched, and that's why this game won't work. Way too many plot confusions.
