Looks better on ps4 but then again ps4 isn't something you can take on the go, will you choose to have a little sharper shadow or something you can play where ever you want?

I know what I would choose and I know what would be more fun

@Erik7357

Then maybe it should be compared in portable mode instead of while docked. And there is way more then just a little sharper shadow. Its missing alot of shadows, bump mapping, reflections, AA, and lower res textures. I don't play games on the go, so i know what i would choose.

i would choose on the go, seen the game in person on handheld screen it looks just as good as ps4, not exact same but way better than doable

I absolutely agree. Maybe huge family members will understand this better. I think theres another thing about switch other than going out and play in bus. What is appealing most to me is that you can seamlessly switch (lol) from tv experience to portable and go to another room if another one wants to watch on tv or baby is sleeping or whatever else. Or you can put it into another dock in different room and continue on different tv. For me portability means this. Im not "play outside" guy. Or you can simply stay in same room. For this reason Im considering buying ps vita for home remote ps4 play.

Apparently Snake Pass got a visual upgrade in a patch? At least that's what I heard. Don't have the game yet so I'm not sure what was improved.

I have the game on the Switch and I can confirm both portable and docked modes look better after the patch. Patching games to look or run better seems to be the trend lately when it comes to Switch games. I know Zelda and Bomberman now run better after recent patches.

I thought I heard something about some system glitch using up extra resources on the console and affecting game performance, if that's been fixed that would explain all of these performance patches coming out.

Bomberman apparently runs at 60fps now because of the patch and now there's supposed to be less lag online too.

ps4 looks better, even when compared to a game like snake pass. Not really an AAA game. Plus of course its multiplatform, neither console would be solely optimized for it.

Being absolutely absurd, because of truth. Just like how you Nintendo fans always fall back on the excuse of "teh portable"

Close. Decent game but only 7 or 8 hours long. Worth buying for amazing soundtrack and unique gameplay
