They are sort of a team at Sony that work on lots of different projects or help out lots of other Sony studios with their games. I remember hearing about them the first time back in 2012 when they helped out a lot with LittleBigPlanet for the Vita.
They are a great little team and I hope nothing ever happens them being based in the UK, lately the death place of big game developers.

Not interested in Scorpio, but I would assume Microsoft will have at least a great show at E3. They're not going to win people over otherwise. I have the standard Xbox One so if some great games come this year, I'm all for it.

I write you because, while Scorpio isn't on the menu for me, I'm at least hopeful some solid titles will come to support it at launch. PlayStation consistently makes the best platforms for me, but I'll gladly play everything so I don't wish failure on the thing.

We are a bit off topic though. We were talking about Xdev. I don't know how much power, technique, or detail they can eke out of a 3- year old console with a very familiar architecture, but if they can do more, that's great.

Looks cancelled to me. Was put on hold in 2009 and cancelled in 2014. The Getaway 3 is still on hold.

The Getaway 3 that could be done by XDEV is not that canned game. That game getting canned is not relevant to this team in any way or even this topic as that was 10 years ago. For all you know, the team started from scratch and made The Getaway 3 on PS4 ground up.

You keep saying the game is cancelled. Getaway 3 wasn't cancelled. It was put on HOLD (8 Days was cancelled) Obviously it wouldn't be on the PS3, as Sony is about to pull the plug on that platform. We don't know if they would use the same game engine or started from scratch for the PS4. You don't know, I don't know and Pancit doesn't know. The only Getaway 3 game that was announced was the one for the PS3. There hasn't been any PS4 version even announced. So not really irrelevant. The team that was making the PS3 version would have to decide if they wanted to make it for the PS4. You act like there is a team already making Getaway 3 for the PS4, when absolutely nothing has been announced. Right now there is ZERO Getaway 3 for the PS4. Fact!!!
