GameWOTS: "Oh shit, fellas, Mass Effect: Andromeda released a new patch! Patch 1.05 focuses on bug fixes and improvements to the player experience."
While Mass Effect: Andromeda was let in several key areas, one of its approaches to romances is something Mass Effect 4 should consider revisiting.
I hope Mass Effect 4 ignores the inferior prequels and instead closely follows the far superior Mass Effect: Andromeda and Dragon Age Inquisition.
Mass Effect 4 should just make Mass Effect 1 but better with current tech. Fans would be happy. As far as romance, they should take notes from the Witcher and Cyberpunk.
Later Bioware games have to little build up. You can have a normal conversation and all of a sudden BAM! The character you talk to becomes super flirty.
iii dunno about that.
the only really great and funny dating partner, is that outlaw guy anyways haha he was funny as hell.
other than that, i found every character to be very annoying.
Shout out to Keri the Asari reporter. Current relationship status be damned as she's game either way. Anything for a good story. 🤣
One of the best things about the Mas Effect series is the companions you meet along the way. So here is a tier list of all the companions from Mass Effect!
To think that Bioware at some point was capable of doing games like this, you see those characters and remember them like good old friends, and now check ME Andromeda, Anthem, Veilguard etc and wonder what the hell happened.
BioWare thinks Mass Effect: Andromeda was a better game than what reception suggested; taught the studio not to shoehorn open-world without any meaningful content in it.
I played it and it wasn't as bad as people said. Is it in the 8-10 range? No.
It's a 6-7, which means it's a solid game.
I played this game back when I wanted to give every game I bought a fair chance and finish it, it was the reason why I stopped doing so, god the game was bad
I actually enjoyed Andromeda. It wasn't a 10/10, by any means, but I played it years after the fact, after a lot of patching, and I had a good time with it.
So delusional, the title was an embarrassment to the original trilogy. it’s the equivalent of 2042 to the battlefield franchise.
So many other games to play in the meantime. Putting this one on the back burner until I know it's ready for release.
Actually, I bought this for the multiplayer and I already have 130+ hours into it.
I am enjoying the game.:)
It all depends the type of gamer you are to really enjoy ME:A. Just to travel a galaxy reading datapads and planet scans is enough to immerse me in this game. Some things are definitely janky but for the ones stretching out that Codex i believe this game is a welcome addition.
just wait till it's below $20 which will be around blackfriday than buy it. This is my issue with games this gen just look at FF15 the developers have said they plan on fixing story pacing issues among other things
those who buy day one are now game testers, play the game paying full price and wasting your time going through a unfinished game. Than write long articles explaining each and every issue or better yet make videos. developers go through the issue and will fix some of them and those who buy a year later for $20 or less get a much better fully polished product
that's why i am a year or more behind and that gives me time to finish games i bought while other launching now will be fixed in 6-12 months
perfect example is witcher 3 someone like me who is planning to buy it this fall will get GOTY for under $30 with all the DLC and a game which has over the years was patched to fix majority of the things that needed to be fixed
mafia 3 is another game but i am waiting for $15 and under
FF15 $20 and under
mass effect under $20
until dawn under $15
the only games i pay full price for are Yakuza games and ND games(but i still didn't buy UC4 at launch bought it for $20)
now a days play your backlog and don't buy into the hype
you will save money and get games which are actually somewhat finished and somewhat well polished
