I remember the original SPACE INVADERS Arcade Cabinet being the first uber popular arcade machine back in 1979 . Wow am i old .

Was so good, but expensive , I must have spent over 40 dollars in quarters on DEFENDER back in 1981, just to be able to play for 12 minutes on one quarter, but it was worth it!!

I played the original and remember each level was the same but faster. It got real fast after maybe the 3rd level. A real quarter eater. I think it faded fast as many other arcade games that were more fun were releasing. Never played the Playstation version.
