Looks great! I'd love to see other color variations of this in the future.

EDIT: It's a new series of controllers announced, not limited to this one. 🙂

I like that it's no more than the other limited editions, but it has textured grips on the back. I wonder if the game-themed controllers that come out now will have the grips too. That would be cool.

I'd imagine. It seems the new S controllers plus newer variations like this have kept it. A lot of people like the diamond grip, me included.

neil3632973d ago

Yeah, that diamond grip is awesome. That has to stay.

This one looks stunning. Another to add to the collection.

I'll stick with the Xbox Elite controller for my PC.

Preordered one from the MS Store. It'll probably get bundled with Scorpio, but I can have two then.

That's a beautiful controller, even if I wouldn't use it it'd look nice with my collection

I have to admit, when it comes to special additions of hardware, MS usally knocks it out of the ballpark compared to its competitors. I always remember the Steel Batallion controller, arguably the most prolific, insane and awesome controller ever made for a game. The Halo and Starwars additions of the 360 Console haven't been equaled to date among consoles. Hopefully this E3 they'll get back their Mojo when it comes to games. Thumbs up on the Recon controller.

This is cool and all but still Microsoft where the games at?

GHOSTxTZ2971d ago

They have more controllers then exclusives lol

n4rc2971d ago

aww... its so cute to see that headline repeated.. and its probably obvious that the guys making controllers arent the guys making games :)

jaymacx2971d ago

I was just gonna say that @AizenSosuke lol. Microsoft have become the best exclusive controller maker. Only if that were true of their games.
Maybe they are holding their cards close to their chest and gonna announce them at E3 . We shall see.

Yo Mama2971d ago

Another controller to play the games they don't have.

n4rc2971d ago

its crazy... those 100 games on my harddrive plus the countless ones i havent bought (yet) dont exist in your world?? something strange is going on here ¬_¬

Nu2971d ago

I have the Xbo One and Microsoft exclusiveness is severely lacking at the moment.

n4rc2971d ago

yeah, it is... but that doesnt mean there are no games to play.. ive said it 100 times, exclusives dont mean anything... games are games.. they exist solely for platform holders to sell hardware..

https://www.gamespot.com/ar...

every single one of the best selling games of last year was on xbox one.. (yes, and ps4.. but thats my point)...

GuruStarr782971d ago

It's cool to have another option, but I'm not sure I'd spend the extra dough for what seems to be basically the same controller with some different texture grip. If it comes with Scorpio and some new Scorpio games (or the rumored PC compatible games) I'd be happy to have it over the regular Xbox one controller.

Again, we'll probably have to wait until E3 to see why MS is holding there cards so close to their chest (Software-wise).
