Obviously Psychotica is expressing an opinion. That is the entire point of this comment section. No one needed you to explain that. I agree, the score is way too low.

You act as if all opinions are equal. They aren't. To paraphrase Douglas Adams, some opinions are more well supported by facts and reason than others.

i think it is too,im having alot of fun with my mate on it,few bugs and shit and the transport needs fixing to say the least lol but the fun is there

This review is executed poorly and is a perfect example of someone who has completely missed the point. Drawing the conclusion that "Wildlands" means "explosions, quadbikes, maybe some Kenny Loggins on the radio to accompany a helicopter missile attack" means that this person has either never played a Ghost Recon game, or is just looking for things to be an ass about. His foolish comment that enemies "rarely put up resistance" tells me he never got far enough into the game to have infiltrated a Unidad base. Yes, the AI may not be the smartest in gaming but the Unidad are persistent to the point of insanity. And while the game may want you to shoot a lot of people and repeat that action over and over, it's a military shooter, WTF did you think the game was about? Did you think you would be making a quilt?

What the reviewer fails to mention is that in his "Drive to point A, shoot a few guys, find thing B, repeat" is the complete freedom you have to do all of these things in just about any order and with any approach the game world allows. Also, there are no "cookie cutter" bases or villages in the game. I platinum'd this game and have been everywhere there is to go and no two villages, bases or compounds are exactly alike. The buildings are obviously reused but the location and arrangement are more dependent on the terrain rather than the method most games like this seem to use where they flatten out a section of map and then copy and paste a group of buildings. The result is a world that feels more organic and seems busy with it's own comings and goings rather than a world that feels created specifically for the player to exist in.

In the end, Ghost Recon Wildlands is not a perfect game by any means and yes, there are a number of things that could use a patch or could have been done better but overall it's a very fun game, especially if you happen to have friends, and play the game as it is and not with the mindset that it's something it never claimed to be. Personally, I would give the game an 8.5 out of 10. It's a solid game with plenty of content and I feel it was well worth the cost to buy it, something that has been rather elusive lately. Very well said. Pretty much my sentiments. Me and my pals have logged many hours in the game & it's quite fun.
The game needs a patch for bugs but it's definitely playable right now.
