And the first rule is that we’re all going to talk about it.
Sony has secretly increased the price of Horizon Zero Dawn on PSN from $19.99 to $39.99 a day after announcing the remastered version.
holy crap this is funny lmao
Edit: just checked and it is lol. Google still says it's $19.99 but once you get to the store site, there it is.
It's to stop people buying it really cheap and then just upgrading. Considering people can upgrade even if they own the free version given away during the pandemic though they are being pretty generous anyway.
And this is why physical needs to be backed for as long as possible. You can buy the physical game for £5
Why do you need a better PS5 when there aren’t any games that will utilise its power?
You technically don't "need" the ps5, ps4 or the ps3, lol. You don't need any videogame console, it isn't a necessity of life. If you want the best playstation console money can by, that would be the ps5 pro.
Why does a random remaster do that? There's going to be plenty of games that utilise it over the next 4 years. And plenty already released that will benefit from it. If you don't want one fine, but what's with all the nonsense bashing of it
Uhhh. I was going to write something but it's so tedious knowing that everybody will just rip me.
There are over 8500 games that use dynamic resolution scaling and struggle to hold fps that out of the box will utilize its power.
Games are already lined up for patches and more games that haven't been announced yet will use it.
But of course talking about what it actually does won't get as many clicks.
no
it adds to your opinion
it's doesn't prove anything
and even besides that, one game wouldn't prove that anyway
that's silly
Summer Game Fest 2024 is right around the corner, and there are exciting leaks and rumors online in addition to confirmed studios.
I'm hoping that Nintendo shows Metroid Prime 4 in some form, even a 30sec gameplay trailer would be fine. Most likely it will only be on a Nintendo Direct.
The remasters likely have nothing to do with the PS5 Pro. Jim Ryan diverted funds from single player focused projects into GAAS which back fired. The remasters can be produced faster than new single player experiences that Jim Ryan stalled.

This game just keeps impressing me.
Oh man. One time I was crouching in some long grass and, I think, 7 Tramplers (i think that's what they were) they were all around me fighting. 360 degress. Crashing and bashing everywhere.
I overrode 1 of them, and then I used my corruption arrows with MAX corruption on like 2 of them. They just missed me like 10 times. I feared for my life
this isn't the kind of game you finish and resell. you go back in and hunt dino's, make them fight, and use 1 of a plethora of styles to which you can approach them.
F-ING MASTERPIECE.
Hope they patch an even harder mode.
