1RBC: During PAX East 2017, I had the opportunity to get my hands on a game called Dauntless- a co-op ARPG about fighting giant creatures, it's a bit reminiscent of Monster Hunter, and if my first impressions are to be trusted, it could be the next big action game you'll be playing with friends.
Nearly six years after its release, Phoenix Labs says that the monster-slaying title Dauntless will shut down and become unavailable later this year.

It's funny how Ninty, which would be the last Publisher I'd expect to do anything about an MP game shutting down, made Animal Crossing Pocket it's own paid game instead of letting it outright die. My point: just grab your MP game, sell a complete edition for cheap, let people host their own servers and viola. You'd continue to profit without needing to worry about server maintenance, and people who genuinely enjoyed these games can continue playing it whenever they feel like it.
