NO WAY. What? I can't believe it. This is crazy unexpected. No one saw this coming.

Crazyglues2973d ago

I am completely shocked, you mean EA is going to charge, no way, you don't say <--- EA and robbing you blind, don't those two go together like peanut butter and jelly... LoL++

Crazyglues2973d ago (Edited 2973d ago )

I was just joking, I'm sorry ea doesn't charge or try to milk their franchises not sure what I was thinking **cough cough (Battlefield 1 49.99 DLC pack) I didn't have my coffee yet forgive me...

-But all jokes aside I'm really looking forward to the game, looks like a lot of work has gone into the game.. reviews so far seem pretty good so I'm stoked..

krypt19832973d ago

How pathetic are you say what you want but after you pay 60 for lets say mediocre horzion zero dawn you beat it thats it, now with most of ea games people still play them daily years after release

xwabbit2973d ago

Well xbox only owners have too since they have no games krypt1983

Phoenix762973d ago

Read the article. Title is misleading.

Crazyglues2973d ago

It is but I think that was the point classic click bait..

CorndogBurglar2973d ago (Edited 2973d ago )

Yeah.....

1. People need to read the articles before knee jerking to a headline. It is misleading.

2. The article is simply explaining the differences between the Standard, Deluxe, and Super Deluxe editions. Its not post launch DLC and the author needs to learn the difference.

_-EDMIX-_2973d ago

I mean yes, but we all know they will make DLC anyway.

Is this even news?

CorndogBurglar2973d ago

@ EDMX

True. But at least its not DLC that releases like a week after launch.

joab7772973d ago (Edited 2973d ago )

These are the exact words I was about to write lol! I mean even the trilogy gave actual story characters as day 1 dlc.

Artemidorus2973d ago

Items that should be in the game but didn't and then thought it's better we pay for it.

EA being EA.

The_Sage2973d ago

It's not add on DLC. The title is BS. It's just stating what's in the delux and supreme versions of the game.

IceKoldKilla2973d ago

I want that Supreme Edition! lol

It's Super Deluxe btw. I know, very corny. Super Mega Ultra Alpha Ex + Advanced Intergalactic Space-Traveling Omega Extra Rare Limited Collector's Edition 2.89 Extreme x2.

Artemidorus2973d ago

So again could be in the game no problem but instead decided to charge

rivaldoo7772973d ago

Therefore waiting for 50 % off

Asuka2973d ago

Actually water itself isnt wet. The sensation you have when you touch water is "wet". The feeling is associated with you, not a property of water. That would be viscosity =p

For All Its Flaws, Mass Effect: Andromeda's Approach to Romance is Something ME4 Can Learn From

While Mass Effect: Andromeda was let in several key areas, one of its approaches to romances is something Mass Effect 4 should consider revisiting.

I hope Mass Effect 4 ignores the inferior prequels and instead closely follows the far superior Mass Effect: Andromeda and Dragon Age Inquisition.

anast106d ago (Edited 106d ago )

Mass Effect 4 should just make Mass Effect 1 but better with current tech. Fans would be happy. As far as romance, they should take notes from the Witcher and Cyberpunk.

Ristul105d ago

Later Bioware games have to little build up. You can have a normal conversation and all of a sudden BAM! The character you talk to becomes super flirty.

TricksterArrow105d ago

Reminds me of Baldur’s Gate. I wanted to practice some magic and Gale made it super weird. Not even gonna mention Astarion.

gold_drake105d ago (Edited 105d ago )

iii dunno about that.

the only really great and funny dating partner, is that outlaw guy anyways haha he was funny as hell.

other than that, i found every character to be very annoying.

ZeekQuattro105d ago

Shout out to Keri the Asari reporter. Current relationship status be damned as she's game either way. Anything for a good story. 🤣

Bro missing companions: Legion, Grunt, Samara/Morinth, Javik, EDI

anast147d ago

Legion, Zaeed, and Jack are my favorites.

RiseNShine147d ago

To think that Bioware at some point was capable of doing games like this, you see those characters and remember them like good old friends, and now check ME Andromeda, Anthem, Veilguard etc and wonder what the hell happened.

anast147d ago

They lost too much talent.

IAMRealHooman147d ago

some in andromeda are decent, I agree with peebee and Vetra being good companions. Except Liam he's trash tier

anast147d ago

Liam lol I can't stand that dude.

IAMRealHooman146d ago

it's like bitch but your shirt back on, your not blue or spikey get away from me

BioWare Thinks Mass Effect Andromeda Was Better Game Than Reception Suggested

BioWare thinks Mass Effect: Andromeda was a better game than what reception suggested; taught the studio not to shoehorn open-world without any meaningful content in it.

thorstein182d ago

I played it and it wasn't as bad as people said. Is it in the 8-10 range? No.

It's a 6-7, which means it's a solid game.

LordoftheCritics182d ago (Edited 182d ago )

Veilguard and Andromeda are of similar level to me.
6 to 6.5 ish

Though I think i enjoyed Andromeda's combat and sense of scale a little bit more.

XBManiac181d ago

Veilguard has better graphics.

neutralgamer1992182d ago

I agree with you It was a 6.5 type game. Gameplay was solid everything else was lacking. Playing at launch with all the issues was just absurd. EA could have let the developers keep patching and fix the game but they stopped just like they did with anthem. It’s crazy to think multi billion dollar publishers can’t afford to keeping patching their games get medium size developers can support the game for years

But when you have android wilson running the company what else can we expect.

OtterX182d ago

Except 6-7 doesn't translate as solid. 6 means a bit flimsy, but still good/enjoyable if you can look past the flaws. 7, a little less flimsy, and enjoyable. 8-10 would be "solid".

But I get your point. I skipped the game entirely, so I don't have an opinion on it.

H9182d ago

I played this game back when I wanted to give every game I bought a fair chance and finish it, it was the reason why I stopped doing so, god the game was bad

TheNamelessOne182d ago

I actually enjoyed Andromeda. It wasn't a 10/10, by any means, but I played it years after the fact, after a lot of patching, and I had a good time with it.

anast182d ago

Same, I enjoyed it too. I might even replay it soon.

TheNamelessOne181d ago

Might do the same, honestly. Went through the trilogy a couple months back.

raWfodog181d ago

I liked it as well, and also played it for the first time over a year after it was released. The original trilogy was a better story overall IMO but I still enjoyed Andromeda.

lellkay182d ago

The game is so unbelivably bad, it's laughable.

pwnmaster3000182d ago (Edited 182d ago )

It really wasn’t. Well for me nd I’m a big fan of the series.
Was it mass effect standard? No
But overall I thought it was a decent game.
6-7/10.

Armaggedon182d ago

You might want to try playing a truly bad game. Go boot up two worlds or gollum to get the perspective you need

MatrixxGT182d ago

Wow, two worlds…red ringed my 360.

Armaggedon182d ago

Lol. Its one of the only games that I have experienced buyers remorse with. The only one I can think of is riders Republic.

matt139182d ago

So delusional, the title was an embarrassment to the original trilogy. it’s the equivalent of 2042 to the battlefield franchise.

thorstein182d ago

2042 had a redemption arc and what exists now is a pretty good FPS.
